Here's another project that I made a little while ago, back in June. I call it a Tree Lamp and I made it for my wife for her birthday. Basically it's an old tree branch wired up with a couple of flexible lamps, a switch and a dimmer. It took me a little over a week, on and off. But if you were to have all the materials ready to go, it could probably be done in about 2 days easily.
Now odds are it's been done before, so I can't say that it's a first. But it seems to get a good reaction from people who see it, and they say they haven't seen anything like it before.
If anyone reading this has seen it done before, please let me know. I'm curious to see how others might have gone about making one.
In case you might be interested in how I made it, it just so happens that I recently finished a second Tree Lamp last week as a Christmas pressie for my sister.
So at some point soon, I will post plenty of pictures of the Tree Lamp 2.0, along with some explanation of how I made it.
